Frequently asked questions
Procedural answers on conference and workshop applications, approval, capacity and attendance.
Return to the conference01When will conference and workshop registration open?
The date for opening applications will be announced on this website. Registration requests are not being accepted yet.
02Is there a fee for the conference or workshops?
No. Applications for the conference and its workshops are free of charge.
03Can I apply for a workshop without the conference?
Yes. You may apply for one workshop, or one on each day, without applying for the conference. Conference and workshop decisions are independent: workshop approval does not require conference approval, and rejection or cancellation of a conference place does not cancel an approved workshop.
04How many workshops can I choose?
You may select at most one workshop per day and two across different days. You may apply for the conference alone, workshops alone, or both.
05Does submitting an application confirm a place?
No. An administrator reviews and decides on each selected activity independently; one may be approved while another remains under review or is declined. Decisions are sent to the email address provided, and capacity is counted only after approval for the respective activity.
06What are the capacities and waiting-list rules?
Capacity is 300 approved conference attendees and 50 approved participants per workshop; speakers and organisers do not count against these limits. Applications for each activity remain open after its places are filled until an administrator closes that activity manually; the administrator may accept waiting applicants when a place becomes available or decline them.
07Is there a livestream or interpretation?
The conference is in person and has no livestream. Live Arabic–English interpretation will be available.
